Our standards for accuracy, clarity, and corrections.

Last updated:

Units Verse publishes two kinds of content: computed conversion pages and human-written educational guides. Both are held to the same standard — correct, clear, and useful.

Accuracy first

Conversion factors are defined against the standards on our sourcespage and derived using the process in our methodology. We prefer exact, definitional values over rounded approximations, and we compose derived units from their base parts so factors are correct by construction.

How content is produced and reviewed

  • Conversion pages are generated from a single, version-controlled data source, so a fix to one factor propagates everywhere it is used.
  • Educational guides are written for a general audience, checked against primary standards, and dated with a visible "last updated" stamp.
  • Formulas shown on the site are validated against the same engine that powers the live converter, so the explanation always matches the calculator.

Corrections

We correct errors promptly. If you find an inaccurate factor, a confusing explanation, or a broken conversion, please report it via the contact page. Substantive corrections update the page's "last updated" date.

Independence

Units Verse is a free tool. Our conversions and guides are not influenced by advertisers or third parties. If we ever introduce sponsorship or affiliate content, it will be clearly labelled and kept separate from calculated results.
